ABOUT THE DJ

Prime Reason Entertainment is owned and operated by Alvin Razon, a DJ with over 25 years of experience. Alvin has been a music lover all his life, and started spinning in Southern California in 1992. Through the years, he's DJ'd countless parties for a variety of occasions, including Birthday Parties, Graduations, Weddings, Church Fundraisers, and Corporate Events. In 2022, he and his family moved from Southern California to Texas and has enjoyed getting to explore the great state he now calls home. After moving across the country during a brief hiatus, Prime Reason Entertainment is now happy to serve the DFW area!

Alvin has experience mixing a variety of music styles catering to the client's vision, including Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Oldies/Classics, Funk, Latin, and more. He has a knack for reading a crowd and keeping the dance floor moving, and as a natural extrovert and people-person, he can MC to keep the party flowing and get the guests pumped up. 

Whatever the occasion, he believes in the importance of remembering your reasons to celebrate life, and being thankful for all of our blessings. He enjoys helping people celebrate their special moments, and is passionate about giving quality service at all stages of an event, from planning in the weeks/months in advance to break down and cleanup at the end of the night.

Alvin currently resides in Weatherford with his lovely wife of 26 years, Evelyn, and their three children: Allysia, Vincent, and Anthony. He is devoted to his Catholic faith and enjoys fishing and the outdoors, barbecue, and hanging out with his family and 3 dogs.
